::Soba::

Meet Soba. Soba is a member of the Snackpackers, a growing compilation about several eccentric characters created by two of my friends and I. The others are Tako (yes, with a 'k') and Fondue. A lot of people (not everyone) will notice that the these two are food, and then thought, "Huh, soba isn't a food." Well, you're wrong. ^_^ "Soba" is the the Japanese word for buckwheat noodles (yakisoba is to die for) and since I take Japanese, I chose that as a name. But enough of my lj-esque ranting.

This, like most of my work, started out as a random, funny sketch of Soba, a person with wolf-ish atributes, and then gradually, I started to actually try to draw something I wanted to keep. The result is what you see. (Actually, I wanted it blur-free, but I accidentally forgot to save it as a 24-bitmap image -_-'''). The steamig cup is a tribute to the webcomic "Paradox Lost" which is totally cool. (check it out!)
